Martrell Harris Biography

Martrell, a Tennessee native, is a worship leader, singer/songwriter and speaker. At an early age he discovered that his talents for music, public speaking and engaging audiences would take him far in life. Martrell is a proud graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he majored in Music Business. As an acclaimed songwriter and musician, he has shared the stage with many popular artists, most recently 3-time Grammy Award Winner Michael W. Smith. He recently completed his first live recording in Nashville, TN that is scheduled to release this year. The long- awaited single “A New Thing” is available now! In addition to being the founder of his own company The Martrell Moment Co., he passionately works in full-time ministry with Bishop Joseph W. Walker III and Mount Zion Baptist Church— Tennessee’s largest predominantly African American religious organization. There, he leads in the creative department, leads worship and so much more.

Martrell is always eager to share his experience with Christ with every person 2 he comes in contact with. His goal is to build a bridge that crosses cultures and generations to reflect the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven!
